Responsibilities & Context

Manage, organize and control efficiently electro-mechanical engineering workshop including the management of Technicians and Workers.
Overseeing the maintenance and repair of electro mechanical of vehicles as well as mechanical parts of vehicles.
Supervise Electro mechanical installation activities.
Manage, plan, control and organize the planned preventative and corrective action of electro mechanical & mechanical maintenance on all equipment in order to maximize their lifespan and ensure safety.
Diagnosing electro mechanical issues, mechanical issues and ensuring timely solutions.
Ensure schedule maintenance and breakdown maintenance of all transport of the company as per schedule.
To ensure troubleshooting and take initiative to repair according to user demand.
To ensure that the essential tools and instruments are available to the transport.
To ensure monitoring the performance of electro mechanical part & mechanical machinery, ensuring remedial work is undertaken to prevent failure/loss of the electro mechanical parts and equipment.
Responsible for major installation & maintenance of electro mechanical & mechanical parts of vehicles, leading the team of Technicians assigned to the task.
Provide a electro mechanical & mechanical engineering advisory service to other sections as per requirement.
Create & maintain register of all workshop equipment to manage the timely calibration and maintenance of this equipment.
Ensure all lifting gear and workshop equipment is maintained to the highest possible standard.
Manage the administration of the mechanical workshop.
Ensure all log books and departmental records are effectively maintained to enable stock control, ordering of parts and all other workshop functions operate efficiently.
Manage the vehicle cleaning program to meet the operational requirements of the various departments.
Produce monthly and annual transport statistics and reports, to review performance and recommend procedural enhancements for discussion.
Work within the Workshop on a regular basis, to retain/update mechanical skills & knowledge.
Be prepared to step in and assist all Technicians in times of emergencies & undertake on the job training with all Technicians should it be required.
To monitor all driver activities & give proper guideline.
To plan, implement and monitor the entire transport pull management.
Any other tasks as assigned by the management from time to time.
