Responsibilities & Context

Key Responsibilities:

1.Schedule & Appointment Management:

  • Efficiently manage the Managing Director’s daily schedule, appointments, meetings, and engagements.
  • Prioritize tasks and ensure timely reminders for important commitments.

2.Confidentiality & Documentation:

  • Handle sensitive documents, correspondence, and reports with the utmost discretion.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for easy retrieval of critical information.

3.Travel Coordination & Logistics:

  • Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, visas, and itineraries.
  • Occasionally accompany the Managing Director on official trips outside Dhaka and abroad when required.

4.Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Managing Director and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Maintain professional correspondence with government agencies, private organizations, and foreign institutions.

5.Report & Presentation Preparation:

  • Draft, review, and finalize reports, presentations, and official documents in English.
  • Ensure accuracy and professionalism in all business and operational documentation.

6.Office & Secretariat Oversight:

  • Supervise administrative functions to ensure smooth operations of the Managing Director’s office.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate seamless workflow.

7.Diplomatic & Government Liaison:

  • Maintain relationships with Foreign Affairs and handle necessary filings.
  • Engage in official correspondence with government bodies and international institutions.

8.Business & Operational Support:

  • Prepare segment-wise business documents, analyze feedback, and provide insights.
  • Assist in strategic decision-making by compiling relevant data.

9.Additional Duties:

  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by the Managing Director or senior management.
