Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

B.Sc in Civil Engineering from any reputed Public University (BUET, CUET, RUET, KUET etc.) is mandatory.

Experience

• At least 12 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

Additional Requirements

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 12 years of hands-on and supervisory experience in civil engineering works.

Preferred Experience:

• Poultry shed design & construction.
• Feed mill building construction
• Factory or industrial building construction
• Large-scale construction project management

Additional Requirements:

• Strong knowledge in AutoCAD, structural analysis tools, MS Project, and MS Office
• Sound understanding of regulatory approvals, construction safety standards, and project costing
• Leadership and team management skills
• Willingness to travel extensively or relocate as per project requirement
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive professional for the position of Manager / Sr. Manager – Civil who will be responsible for overseeing all civil engineering-related activities across our industrial operations. The ideal candidate must have extensive hands-on experience in planning, designing, supervising, and executing civil construction works—particularly related to poultry sheds, feed mill buildings, and factory infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, cost, and timeline compliance.
• Prepare project budgets, BOQs, estimates, drawings, and work schedules.
• Supervise and guide contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to execute construction works per design and company standards.
• Ensure compliance with structural engineering standards, construction regulations, and health & safety laws.
• Oversee site surveys, soil testing, and structural analysis for new projects.
• Review and approve designs, layouts, and material specifications.
• Monitor project progress and generate regular reports for management.
• Maintain liaison with local authorities, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Evaluate vendor performance and recommend hiring decisions where necessary.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
• Coordinate maintenance, renovation, or extension of existing facilities.
• Ensure environmental, structural, and utility efficiency across all civil projects.
