• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Form & Oracle Apex preferably in the insurance or financial sector.
• Experience on Proficiency in database management systems (MySQL, SQL, PL/SQL, MS Access, PostgreSQL(optional)
• Strong knowledge on Oracle Linux, CentOS Linux & Red hat Linux & Windows server platform.
• Strong Knowledge on Disaster Management Systems.
• Strong experience on database server installation & configure database instance.
• Implement Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) & Restore Backup.
• Strong Knowledge on Network & Security System.
• Experience with Cloud Computing like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Design, develop, and implement web applications in an Oracle APEX environment.
• Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL) and scripting languages (SQL, PL/SQL).
• Manage security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems
• Manage, configure, and maintain MikroTik routers and Cisco switches.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in both Bangla and English.
• Team player with the ability to work independently when required.

Responsibilities & Context

Best Life Insurance Limited a fast growing Life Insurance Company of the country is looking for eligible and deserving candidates for Head of ICT.

Responsibilities :

• Implement the necessary project management practices.
• Maintain Project Charter, Project management plans, WBS, Schedule, issues, Risks, Project Dashboard, Project Status Report, Project Closer Report, Project Lesson Learned etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Thoroughly test and debug applications, ensuring they function correctly and meet performance standards.
• Design, develop, and implement web applications in an Oracle APEX environment.
• Work with Oracle database schemas, ensuring data integrity and efficient database performance.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient database systems (e.g., Oracle, MSSQL Server, SQL, MySQL, PL/SQL) to support business operations.
• Perform database monitoring, optimization, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure high performance and availability.
• Implement and maintain security measures for APEX applications, protecting sensitive data.
• Manage data backups, disaster recovery plans, and ensure data integrity and security compliance.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate databases with applications, ERP systems, and third-party platforms. Develop and enforce database policies, access controls, and user permissions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including schemas, procedures, and reports for management. Oracle Forms 12c install, Oracle Form & Report 12c (Compile)
• Familiarity with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
• Strong Knowledge on RMAN Backup & Recovery and archive log monitor and clear.
• Perform network design and capacity planning, Install and maintain three layered network environment
• Manage security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems
• Manage, configure, and maintain MikroTik routers and Cisco switches.
