Responsibilities & Context

As the Head of the Textile Division at OMC Limited, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our Textile Testing & Color Matching Solutions. Your primary focus will be to lead a team of professionals in delivering high-quality textile testing services and color matching solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities: 

  • Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Textile Division. Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the division.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion within the textile testing and color matching market. Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including textile manufacturers, buyers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Textile Division, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and quality. Implement efficient processes and systems to streamline operations and optimize resource utilization. Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure operational excellence and drive continuous improvement.
  • Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the development and management of the division’s product portfolio, including machinery, equipment, consumables, and services. Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to continually improve our product offerings. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for the Textile Division, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded. Monitor financial performance and prepare regular reports for top management. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency measures to optimize divisional profitability.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely delivery of services and effective resolution of client inquiries or issues. Act as a primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their concerns and proactively seeking feedback to improve service delivery.
