  • Proven working experience in the Reservation & Ticketing Department.
  • Excellent knowledge of Amadeus, and Galileo, sabre
  • Know issues, reissues, and refunds.
  • Well-versed in various areas of travel (domestic, international, online booking, group booking).
  • Ability to present and communicate with clients effectively.
  • Good Communication skills (both oral and written).
  • An outgoing, confident, and energetic personality.
  • Must have to be experience with air ticketing software GDS.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Manage a team of reservation officers to ensure efficient and accurate handling of customer bookings and inquiries.
  • Take work reports from junior officers and provide necessary feedback.
  • Conduct daily analysis of market competition and industry trends to identify opportunities for sales growth and develop strategies accordingly.
  • Train and mentor reservation officers to enhance their skills and knowledge of travel industry trends and best practices.
  • Oversee the reservation process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively, striving to achieve satisfactory resolutions while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as customer service, sales, and finance to optimize reservation processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on airline policies, fare structures, and industry regulations to provide accurate information to customers and team members.
  • Analyse reservation data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Provide comprehensive assistance to customers regarding flight schedules, fares, connections, and travel documentation issuance.
  • Issue tickets and other travel documents.
  • Assist passengers with check-in procedures, baggage handling, and addressing any special needs or concerns throughout their travel journey.
  • Address passenger concerns, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems to supervisors or management when necessary.
