Education
- Medical device operators typically require specialized training and education in the operation and maintenance of medical devices. This may include:
- – A degree in a relevant field such as biomedical engineering, medical technology, or healthcare science
- – Completion of a training program or certification course in medical device operation and maintenance
- – Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, such as those set by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)Strong technical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills
- -S.S.C. / H.S.C. / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical will be given preference).
Experience
- 5 to 7 years

Responsibilities & Context
Job context : A medical device operator is an individual responsible for the safe and effective operation of medical devices, which are instruments, apparatus, or software used to diagnose, treat, or prevent diseases or medical conditions. Medical device operators play a crucial role in healthcare set up ensuring that medical devices are used correctly to provide high-quality patient care.
Roles and Responsibilities
– The roles and responsibilities of a medical device operator may vary depending on the type of device, the healthcare setting, and the operator’s level of training and expertise. Some common responsibilities include:
– The Candidate should have practical knowledge in operation of Medical Device Equipment like Disposable Syringe Assembling, Infusion Set assembling, ETO Autoclave operation & Injection Moulding Machine operation.
– Operating and maintaining medical devices according to manufacturer instructions and healthcare facility policies
– Conducting routine checks and tests to ensure device functionality and accuracy
– Troubleshooting device malfunctions and performing repairs or maintenance as needed
– Calibrating devices to ensure accurate measurements and results
– Providing training and support to other healthcare professionals on the use of medical devices
– Maintaining accurate records of device use, maintenance, and repair
