- At least 05 years in a Nursing Superintendent role in a Modern Hospital.
Responsibilities & Context
- Provide overall leadership, supervision and guidance to the nursing staff ensuring quality patient care.
- Develop, implement and monitor nursing policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Plan, organize and coordinate nursing activities across different departments.
- Ensure adequate staffing, proper duty rosters, and effective utilization of nursing workforce.
- Monitor patient care services to maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and infection control.
- Arrange and oversee training, professional development and performance evaluation of nursing staff.
- Address grievances, disciplinary issues and promote teamwork among nursing personnel.
- Coordinate with consultants, physicians, and other clinical staff to ensure smooth healthcare delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of nursing operations, incidents, and quality assurance reports.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, DGHS regulations, and nursing ethics.
- Any other task assigned by hospital management from time to time.
