Responsibilities & Context
Studio Dhaka Ltd. is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Interior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing design and execution team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and experience in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, vendor coordination, and material analysis for interior design and construction projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate BOQs, material take-offs, and cost estimates for interior projects.
- Assist in tender preparation, rate analysis, and budget forecasting.
- Evaluate drawings and specifications to ensure cost efficiency and material optimization.
- Collaborate with the design and project teams for on-site measurement verification.
- Support procurement and vendor coordination for quotations and material selection.
- Maintain and update project cost tracking sheets and progress reports.
- Cross-check design details with project implementation teams when required.
- Visit project sites if necessary to verify design accuracy and coordinate with on-site teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying (Diploma with strong experience may also apply).
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in interior project estimation or construction QS.
- Strong command of Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Office tools.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and market rates for interior works.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
