Requirements

Education

  • Master of Architecture (M.Arch) in Architecture
  • Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
  • Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a reputed university.
  • A Master’s Degree in Architecture, Project Management, or Construction Management will be considered a strong advantage.

Experience

    • 5 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Consulting Firms, Architecture Firm, Interior Design

Additional Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with at least 2–3 years in a Project Management role at a renowned architectural firm.
  • Professional Registration:
  • Registration with IAB/KDA/CDA or equivalent authority is highly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, D5, Twinmotion, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6.
  • Knowledge Base:
  • Strong understanding of BNBC codes, zoning regulations, construction materials, methods, and authority drawing preparation.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven leadership and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities in English and Bangla.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for design excellence and innovation.

 


Responsibilities & Context

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead our architectural projects from concept to completion — ensuring excellence in design, precision in execution, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Management

  • Lead, plan, and manage all phases of architectural projects — from schematic design to construction completion.
  • Develop detailed project scopes, schedules, and budgets aligned with company goals and client expectations.
  • Allocate resources effectively and oversee project team members to ensure milestones are achieved.

Design & Technical Oversight

  • Maintain design integrity and technical quality throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure compliance with building codes and design standards.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with structural, MEP, and other consulting teams for integrated project delivery.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the company, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
  • Organize and lead client meetings, presentations, and design review sessions.
  • Resolve design or construction challenges with professionalism and creative problem-solving.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and mentor project team members, providing guidance and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and relevant authorities to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation within the project team.

Financial & Risk Management

  • Monitor project budgets, billing, and overall financial performance to ensure profitability.
  • Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage change orders and negotiate project scope adjustments effectively.

Construction Administration

  • Oversee the construction phase, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site inspections.
  • Ensure all construction activities align with approved designs and quality standards.
  • Manage project handover, punch lists, and close-out documentation efficiently.
