Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
  • B.Sc. in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) from any Public University (Mandatory)
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related continuous improvement certification preferred.

Experience

    • At least 8 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Multinational Companies, Garments, Textile

Additional Requirements

  • Age At most 45 years
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Must have excellent oral & written communication skills in English. [Mandatory]
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/SAP/IBM business solutions.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing/operations management and production planning & control.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.
  • Capability to train, motivate, and develop subordinates.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Manage and lead the production team – including operators, technicians, line leaders, supervisors & staff management.
  • Production planning and scheduling, resource allocation, quality control, safety compliance, continuous improvement initiatives, and communication with other departments.
  • Monitor daily production activities and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines and manage unexpected delays.
  • Lead and motivate the production, PPC, QC & engineering team to achieve performance goals.
  • Monitor production progress against schedules and identify potential bottlenecks or delays.
  • Optimize production workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Generate an operational progress report, calculating raw materials, factory supplies, chemicals & utilities consumption.
  • Understanding of process optimization tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze performance data, and report progress to senior management.
  • Train and develop subordinates/team members on technical, safety & management sciences.
  • Conduct annual appraisals, set KRA/KPI, and continuously follow up with the team to achieve KRA.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations strategy with business goals.
