About Bangladesh Seed Association (BSA):
The Bangladesh Seed Association (BSA) is the national representative body of the seed sector in Bangladesh, serving as a liaison between private seed companies and relevant government institutions. With more than 18,000 members across three membership categories, BSA is dedicated to promoting sustainable growth of the seed industry, ensuring policy support, strengthening institutional linkages, and maintaining transparency and accountability in all its operations.
Position Overview:
The Administrative Officer will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient administrative operations of the Association. This role involves managing office activities, maintaining official records, coordinating meetings, facilitating communication between departments and members, and supporting the Executive Director in implementing organizational policies and decisions. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, along with the ability to manage confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day administrative operations of the Association, including office management, logistics, and staff coordination.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and correspondence related to the Association’s operations and activities.
- Support and organize meetings, workshops, and official programs, including documentation, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Assist in preparing reports, letters, circulars, and notices for internal and external communication.
- Support membership management activities such as record keeping, database updates, and communication with members.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of organizational policies, circulars, and office orders.
- Facilitate communication between the Executive Committee, Secretariat staff, and general members.
- Supervise procurement and inventory management for office supplies and logistics.
- Ensure administrative compliance with BSA’s rules, regulations, and governance framework.
- Provide administrative support to various programs and events organized by the Association.
