- At least 15 years of total professional experience, including 5 years in a senior sales leadership position.
- Experience in FMCG, Bakery, Dairy, Snacks, or Confectionery industries.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and analytical skills.
- Proven record of achieving sales growth and leading large sales teams.
- Age: 45 years or below.
Responsibilities & Context
Matribhumi Dairy Foods Limited (MDFL) is one of the leading food manufacturing companies in Bangladesh. Matribhumi Dairy Foods Limited (MDFL) is a social enterprise of Development Initiative for Social Advancement (DISA).
The company currently produces sweetmeats, dairy products, bakery and snacks items, and within the next few months, MDFL will launch confectionery items, premium foil-pack cookies and biscuits, various types of bread, buns, and cakes.
In addition, MDFL is preparing to export its products to various countries and will continue to expand by introducing new, demand-based products. Altogether, MDFL will operate under seven product categories, ensuring quality, nutrition, and taste for all consumers.
To strengthen the brand in the market and to achieve 100% of sales targets, MDFL is looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor national sales strategies and business plans.
- Lead the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Build and strengthen the distribution network across Bangladesh.
- Expand into new markets and manage export sales.
- Analyze sales performance, prepare sales reports, and control budgets.
- Coordinate closely with marketing and production departments to ensure business alignment.
Job Location:
- Head Office: Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Frequent field visits across the country as required.
Compensation & Other Benefits
- Monthly Salary: BDT 110,000 (Negotiable based on experience).
- Attractive sales commission and performance incentives.
- Other benefits as per company policy.
