Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE).
Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) preferred.
Minimum 15 years of experience in the Fan & Cables manufacturing industry.
Experience in the Electronics Equipment / Home Appliances sector is mandatory.
Proven leadership experience in large-scale production environments with a track record of efficiency and quality improvement.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on experience with modern manufacturing and quality improvement tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities.
Responsibilities & Context
Position Purpose
The General Manager – Production (Fan & Cables) will be responsible for leading, planning, and executing all production activities to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing operations. The role requires strategic oversight of the production process, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration to meet organizational goals in the fan and cable manufacturing segment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement production plans and schedules to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing of fans and cables.
Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, and Quality Control teams to optimize production processes.
Maintain and enforce quality control standards to ensure that products meet industry norms and customer expectations.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to monitor and continuously improve product quality.
Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing practices and operational excellence.
Lead, mentor, and manage the production team, including supervisors and line staff, to achieve performance objectives.
Prepare and manage the production budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and performance of production equipment to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all production activities.
Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure production aligns with customer requirements and delivery commitments.
Support organizational growth through strategic planning, innovation, and leadership in manufacturing operations.
Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address customer concerns and ensure that production meets customer specifications and delivery timelines.
