Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in NGO/INGO settings, including at least 3 years working with Rohingya communities in Cox’s Bazar.
- Proven experience in managing a Multi-Purpose Women’s Center, Women and Girls Safe Space (WGSS), or similar protection and empowerment facilities.
- Demonstrated understanding of gender equality, women’s empowerment, humanitarian response, and the socio-economic and cultural dynamics of Rohingya communities.
Other Skills and Competencies
- Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation, coordination, and representation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities with a participatory and inclusive management style.
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain team spirit, and travel to remote areas as required.

Required Technical Skills
- Proficiency in report writing, case documentation, data management, and project cycle management.
- Strong command of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communication tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools, safeguarding standards, and digital data collection platforms is an added advantage.

Background
Bangladesh Nari Progati Sangha (BNPS) is a national women rights organization working since 1986 to promote gender equality and social justice from the family to the state level. BNPS strives to create an enabling environment for women, poor and marginalized communities through empowerment and social transformation. Under the project “Women’s Leadership on Improving Peace, Socio-Economic Stability, and Participation in Power Corridors in Cox’s Bazar”, supported by UN Women, BNPS has started to operate a Multi-Purpose Women’s Center (MPWC) in Camp 18. The Center provides a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for Rohingya community women and girls to access psychosocial support, vocational and life skills training, and information on rights and protection services.
Job Summary
The MPWC Manager will be responsible for the overall management, coordination, and implementation of activities at the MPWC in alignment with BNPS and UN Women standards. She will lead the MPWC team, ensure quality service delivery, and maintain effective coordination with community leaders, government agencies, and partner organizations to promote women’s empowerment and gender equality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all operational, programmatic, and administrative functions of the MPWC.
- Ensure the implementation of activities in line with humanitarian and gender equality principles.
- Supervise and mentor MPWC staff, trainers, and volunteers to maintain quality, accountability, and efficiency.
- Facilitate vocational and non-vocational training programs, awareness sessions, and outreach activities.
- Monitor progress, prepare narrative and quantitative reports, case studies, and success stories as per donor and BNPS requirements.
- Maintain accurate data management systems and documentation of beneficiaries and activities.
- Foster coordination and partnerships with local authorities, humanitarian actors, and community representatives.
- Maintain regular communication and effective liaison with the CiC Office to ensure smooth operation of the MPWC.
- Promote a survivor-centered and rights-based approach in all interactions with women and girls.
- Ensure that the MPWC operates as a safe, inclusive, and confidential space for women and girls.
- Support budget monitoring, logistics, and compliance with organizational and donor policies.
