Key Responsibilities,

• Glaze Application: Use techniques like dipping, spraying (using manual or robotic guns), or pouring to apply glaze coatings uniformly according to technical specifications.
• Preparation & Mixing: Prepare glaze solutions by mixing raw materials or frits with water, stirring to maintain the correct density and thickness for a smooth finish.
• Quality Inspection: Check “biscuit ware” (pre-glazed pieces) for cracks or dust before application and reject defective items to prevent production waste.
• Surface Refinement: Remove excess glaze or fingerprints from dry ware using tools like buffing wheels or sponges to ensure a flawless final product.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and monitor glaze line machinery, ensuring it is clean and functioning correctly to prevent uneven application.

Required Skills & Qualifications,

• Experience: Most roles require 1–3 years of experience in ceramic manufacturing.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of different glaze types (matt, glossy, crystalline) and firing temperatures.
• Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination for precision spraying or dipping, especially for delicate or large pieces.
• Safety Awareness: Ability to follow strict health protocols, including using dust filter masks when handling toxic chemicals or fine ceramic dust.
