Responsibilities & Context
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity
- Monitor production progress and adjust plans to meet delivery deadlines
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of raw materials
- Balance production capacity, labor, and equipment utilization
- Track inventory levels and minimize shortages or excess stock
- Analyze production data and prepare reports for management
- Identify potential production risks and implement corrective actions
