Supervisor Poly (Printing & Cutting)

The primary responsibilities of a production supervisor generally fall into several key areas:

• Production Management:
  • Plan, organize, and manage daily production schedules to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Monitor workflows and processes to optimize efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce waste.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions quickly.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance, quality control, and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations.
• Quality and Compliance:
  • Implement and maintain quality control standards, ensuring all products meet required specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and audits, analyzing production data to implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations (e.g., ISO, OSHA), and health and safety rules.
• Team Leadership and Development:
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate production staff.
  • Provide employee coaching, conduct performance evaluations, and address employee relations issues.
  • Coordinate training for new and existing employees to enhance their skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage employee schedules, track absenteeism, and handle disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Reporting and Administration:
  • Maintain accurate production records and generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate material requirements to prevent disruptions.
