Oversee day-to-day operations of the supermarket, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all departments.Manage and motivate a team of employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock replenishment to meet customer demand.
Implement strategies to optimize sales and profitability, including promotional campaigns, product placement, and pricing strategies.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and negotiate favorable terms.
Prepare and manage budgets, including expenses, payroll, and operational costs.
Stay updated on industry trends and market competition, and adapt strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
Experience in the grocery or food retail industry.Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software is a plus.
Previous experience in budget management and financial analysis is a plus.
