Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Scrum Master role, with a proven track record of successfully guiding software development teams in Agile environments. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile practices, removing obstacles, and ensuring the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Educate and support the team in Agile methodologies, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices.
• Identify, track, and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress.
• Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement within the team, helping to identify areas for process enhancement.
• Foster strong communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.
• Monitor team performance using appropriate metrics and tools, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Assist Product Owners with backlog management, refining and prioritizing user stories, and ensuring clarity of requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Candidate will be working at UK hours (GMT and GMT+1). In local BD time (2.00 PM to 11.00 PM)
• Work after hours if required to overlap UK times.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum methodology.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to identify and address impediments effectively.
• Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire Agile teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with scaling Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
• Background in software development or technical experience.
• Familiarity with other Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, XP).
