Responsibilities & Context
- Assess and manage patients who have physiotherapy needs.
- Diagnosis musculoskeletal, neurological, Pediatric, Gynae & Obs and cardiopulmonary conditions affecting mobility.
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in patient care planning and review meetings.
- Provide appropriate physiotherapy service to patients.
- Provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity.
- Ensure that all records, reports and documents are properly maintained.
- Develop systems to maintain and improve standards of Physiotherapy department.
- Seek new ways of improving the functionalities of the Physiotherapy department.
- Ensure appropriate safety measures in all aspects for using medical/non-medical equipment.
- Manage departmental activities, resources, and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and health regulations.
- Any other responsibility as assigned by the authority.
