Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
- Master of Science (MSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- 7 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Logistics Startup, Port Service, Transport Service, Transport Startup, Transportation
Additional Requirements
- Age 35 to 42 years
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and vehicle diagnostic systems.
- Experience in fleet maintenance management will be preferred.
- Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Responsibilities & Context
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and ensure timely repairs.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to maximize vehicle uptime.
- Monitor workshop operations and ensure efficient utilization of manpower and resources.
- Maintain maintenance records, service histories, and repair reports.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of required parts and materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with operations teams to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Supervise mechanics and technicians and provide technical guidance when required.
- Analyze maintenance costs and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management related to fleet maintenance and engineering operations.
