Education

  • Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Textile Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

    • 7 to 14 years

  • Age 35 to 50 years
  • Only Male
  • Minimum 7–14 years of experience in Knit Garments marketing and merchandising.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role.
  • Strong network with international buyers, brands, and buying houses.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of garment manufacturing, costing, sourcing, and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and business communication.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager – Marketing to lead the marketing and business development activities for our Promotional Super Items and Knit Garments division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with international buyers, and achieving sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and business development plans.
  • Identify and secure new buyers and business opportunities in international markets.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers and buying houses.
  • Lead negotiations with buyers regarding pricing, product development, and order execution.
  • Coordinate closely with merchandising, production, and sourcing teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and marketing reports for management.
  • Achieve annual sales and profitability targets.
  • Participate in international trade fairs, buyer meetings, and promotional events.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team to maximize performance.
