Responsibilities & Context
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock management.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, goods, and supplies.
- Issue materials/products according to approved requisitions and company procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare reorder requests to prevent stock shortages.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, stacking, and preservation of materials.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly store and inventory reports.
- Maintain stock registers, GRN, delivery notes, and other store-related documentation.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Sales, and Accounts departments regarding inventory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and warehouse procedures.
- Track slow-moving, non-moving, damaged, and expired items and report to management.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of the store/warehouse area.
- Support internal and external audit activities by providing required inventory records.
- Operate and update ERP/software-based inventory management systems when applicable.
- Supervise store assistants and support efficient store operations.
