Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing, Accounting
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing, Accounting
  • Masters
  • Bachelor/Honors
  • The educational qualification requirement may be relaxed for candidates with substantial managerial experience in bulk rice sales.

Experience

    • At least 3 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Agro based Startup, Auto Rice Mill, Manufacturing (FMCG)

  • Candidates should possess practical and proven experience in bulk rice sales and marketing through dealers, distributors, and corporate buyers.
  • High level of honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct.
  • Demonstrated diligence, commitment, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Plan, develop, manage, and supervise the dealer and distributor network to achieve the company`s business objectives, sales growth, and market expansion goals.
  • Identify potential new markets, territories, and business opportunities and take initiatives to recruit qualified and capable dealers and distributors by completing the necessary verification, evaluation, and approval processes.
  • Establish long-term business relationships with dealers and distributors, strengthen mutual trust and cooperation, and ensure their commitment and active engagement with the company.
  • Set, implement, and regularly review sales targets, collection targets, and market development plans for dealers and distributors.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate the business operations, sales activities, market coverage, product inventory, customer service, and overall performance of dealers and distributors.
  • Ensure adequate product inventory at dealer and distributor points and coordinate timely product supply, distribution, and replenishment according to market demand.
  • Provide business advice, product information, and market-based guidance to dealers and distributors to increase sales, expand markets, and improve business performance.
  • Ensure the proper implementation of the company`s pricing policies, trade offers, discount programs, promotional activities, and other commercial terms and conditions.
  • Regularly monitor and control outstanding accounts, collections, credit limits, and financial transactions of dealers and distributors.
  • Take prompt and effective initiatives to resolve dealer and distributor complaints, business issues, market challenges, and supply-related problems.
  • Monitor and analyze competitors` activities, pricing policies, market strategies, new products, promotional offers, and market trends and adopt appropriate business strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure market expansion, coverage of new territories, and increased market share of the company`s products through the development of new dealers and distributors.
  • Ensure the active participation of dealers and distributors in enhancing and maintaining the company`s brand image, reputation, and product visibility in the market.
  • Evaluate and rate the performance of dealers and distributors and recommend restructuring, relocation, replacement, or termination whenever necessary.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on sales, collections, market development, dealer performance, and distribution activities to management.
  • Perform any other duties, responsibilities, and special assignments assigned by management from time to time for the company`s business interests, sales growth, and long-term market development.
