Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in CSE/CS/IT/EEE
  • Master of Science (MSc) in CSE/CS/IT/EEE

Experience

    • 5 to 6 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): ISP, IT Enabled Service, Telecommunication

Additional Requirements

  • Age 25 to 40 years
  • Only Male
  • Professional knowledge Linux Server installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • RHCSA/RHCE certification preferable.
  • In-depth knowledge of IP-Telephony, Related Protocols
  • Hand-on experience on IP-PABX, Call Center, commissioning, and troubleshooting, Asterisk. Vicidial, Issabel, FreePBX, Bulk SMS Solution, FXO, FXS, ATA, E1 etc.
  • Hands-on working experience on Class 4/Class 5 Softswitch.
  • Working experience in telecommunications/ IPTSP is preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of signaling protocols such as SIP, SS7, etc.
  • Experience in Mysql Database and Basic HTML, CSS, PHP preferable.Good communication skills.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee support operations for IPTSP retail and corporate subscribers
  • Coordinate with ICX, CISP, ANS, for Short Code, LTFS, and other interconnection services.
  • Design IP Telephony & VoIP solutions, including network topology, integration plans, and capacity planning.
  • Manage Linux server infrastructure, virtualization, OS deployment, firewall/security configuration etc.
  • Configuration and integration of telecom systems (FXO/FXS Gateways, Elastix/Issabel, ViciDial, Grandstream/Yeaster IP-PBX, SBCs, and legacy system integration).
  • Manage and administer Class 5 Softswitch platforms, including subscriber onboarding, system integration, troubleshooting, billing etc. Hands-on experience with iTel Softswitch will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Oversee SMS service platforms, including A2P/P2P SMS gateway management and interoperability with vendors, CISP/ANS partners.
  • Perform proactive monitoring and analytics for system and fraud detection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (NOC, Billing, Business, Sales) to ensure smooth operation.
  • Manage vendor relationships for service support, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers by providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and technical escalation support.
  • Any other responsibilities assigned from the department.
