  • Candidates must have experience working as a Kitchen Steward in a 5-Star Hotel.
  • Candidates must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities & Context

Main Job Responsibilities of a Kitchen Steward

Cleaning & Sanitation

  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Clean kitchen floors, walls, workstations, and storage areas.
  • Dispose of garbage and food waste properly.
  • Ensure all cleaning is done according to hygiene standards.

Dishwashing Operations

  • Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
  • Sort, stack, and store clean utensils and kitchenware.
  • Check equipment for cleanliness before use.

Kitchen Support

  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic non-cooking tasks.
  • Transport food supplies, ingredients, and equipment within the kitchen.
  • Refill cleaning supplies and maintain stock of kitchen necessities.

Storage & Organization

  • Arrange and organize kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Keep storage rooms, refrigerators, and freezers clean and organized.
  • Follow proper food safety and storage procedures.

Health & Safety

  • Follow HACCP and food safety regulations.
  • Wear proper PPE (gloves, apron, safety shoes, etc.).
  • Report damaged equipment or safety hazards immediately.
  • Help maintain a safe and accident-free working environment.
