Education
- Higher Secondary
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent. National Certificate Course (NCC) or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
Experience
- 2 to 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hotel, Resort
Additional Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as a Room Attendant in a 5-star hotel or luxury resort.(Freshers with relevant training may also apply).
Skills:
- Knowledge of guest room cleaning procedures, linen handling, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to use housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Team player with good coordination and communication skills.
- Appearance & Personality: Must be well-groomed, professional, and maintain a positive, disciplined attitude.
Responsibilities & Context
Grand Sultan Tea Resort & Golf, a leading five-star luxury resort in Bangladesh, invites applications from dynamic and service-oriented professionals to join our Housekeeping & Laundry Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards, including bed making, dusting, vacuuming, and bathroom cleaning.
- Change linens, replenish towels, and restock guest room amenities such as toiletries, water, and tea/coffee supplies.
- Ensure all room areas, furniture, and fittings are properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained in presentable condition.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues or damages and promptly report them to the relevant department.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of housekeeping equipment, chemicals, and trolleys while following safety and hygiene standards.
- Respond to guest requests courteously while respecting guest privacy and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
