Experience

- Experience managing research grants, donor-funded projects, and institutional partnerships.

- Ability to translate research findings into actionable policy recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities & Context
Work Location: CSER, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Division/Department: Executive Management
Reports to: Executive Director
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee CSER’s research agenda and thematic priorities.
- Lead economic, social, and policy research projects to ensure high-quality analytical outputs.
- Supervise and mentor economists, analysts, and research associates.
- Produce policy briefs, research reports, publications, and strategic recommendations.
- Ensure research methodologies, findings, and outputs meet professional and academic standards.
- Coordinate with government agencies, development partners, academia, and other stakeholders.
- Present research findings in seminars, workshops, conferences, and policy forums.
- Lead proposal development for donor-funded projects and institutional partnerships.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
- Promote evidence-based policymaking through impactful research initiatives.
- Build collaborative relationships with local and international research organizations.
- Support organizational visibility through publications, media engagement, and stakeholder communication.
