- Strong understanding of real estate laws, land acquisition processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Skilled in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Ability to conduct legal research and provide well-founded legal advice.
- Advocacy experience will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities & Context
- Provide legal counsel and guidance on real estate matters, including property acquisition, development, leasing, and sales.
- Review, draft, and vet legal documents such as purchase agreements, lease agreements, contracts, MoUs, and deeds.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and zoning ordinances throughout the real estate development process.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support management decision-making and deliver accurate legal advice to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities, landowners, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth land acquisition processes.
- Maintain updated knowledge of property laws, land registration processes, and regulatory changes.
- Assist in resolving property-related disputes and support litigation matters when required.
