Responsibilities & Context
Position Summary
At JHEEL MAESTRIA, the Hostess is the first and last point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will create a warm, elegant, and memorable first impression while ensuring smooth guest flow, reservation management, and exceptional hospitality standards throughout the dining experience. Hostesses in fine dining environments are responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating, and maintaining a refined guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and introduce them to the assigned server.
- Provide accurate wait-time estimates and keep guests informed.
- Coordinate table assignments to ensure balanced service flow and optimal guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, celebrations, and VIP arrangements.
- Answer telephone calls professionally and assist with reservation bookings.
- Maintain an organized reception area and ensure menus are clean and presentable.
- Communicate effectively with service staff, supervisors, and management regarding guest needs.
- Monitor dining room occupancy and support smooth restaurant operations.
- Assist in resolving guest concerns promptly and courteously.
- Uphold JHEEL MAESTRIA`s grooming, service, and hospitality standards at all times.
