Additional Requirements

Basic knowledge of fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems.
Training or certification in fire pump operation, extinguisher servicing, or fire safety management will be considered an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies.
Good communication, reporting, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities & Context

Maintain, inspect, and ensure proper functioning of all fire safety equipment, including Fire Doors, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Extinguishers, Hydrants, and associated safety systems.
Assist in the installation, commissioning, and periodic inspection of new fire safety systems and equipment.
Possess in-depth practical knowledge of installation, maintenance, and repair of Fire Door and Sprinkler Systems.
Have sound theoretical knowledge and demonstrate the capability to troubleshoot Fire Door and Sprinkler System faults and operational issues.
Conduct regular fire and workplace risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare inspection, maintenance, incident, and compliance-related reports accurately and timely.
Ensure prompt emergency response and provide support during fire or any emergency situation.
Assist in conducting fire drills, evacuation exercises, and other emergency preparedness programs.
Handle emergency and crisis situations effectively with sound judgment and quick response.
Ensure workplace safety and maintain compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist in preparing for and facilitating local and international compliance audits.
Maintain proper service, maintenance, and inspection records of all fire safety equipment and systems.
