Requirements
Education
- Master of Commerce (MCom) in Cost & Management Accounting
- Professional qualification such as CMA, ACCA, or partly qualified CMA/ACCA will be given preference.
Experience
-
- 8 to 12 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms, Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry)
Additional Requirements
- Age 32 to 40 years
- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory position.
- Experience in steel, transformer, electrical equipment, engineering, consumer goods, or similar manufacturing sectors will be an added advantage.
- Expertise in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial modeling.
- Sound understanding of inventory management and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities & Context
- Prepare and maintain product-wise cost sheets and standard costing models.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and pricing for local and international tenders.
- Analyze tender specifications, BOQ, technical requirements, and contract conditions.
- Develop product-wise and project-wise costing models considering raw materials, labor, overheads, logistics, duties, taxes, and financial costs.
- Prepare annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and departmental budgets.
- Monitor budget utilization and prepare monthly budget variance reports.
- Monitor production costs, material consumption, wastage, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct standard costing and variance analysis.
- Review Bills of Materials (BOM) and production reports.
- Track project-wise revenues, costs, and profitability.
- Prepare contract performance reports for ongoing projects.
- Monitor inventory valuation and stock reconciliation.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors regarding costing and inventory matters.
