Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Finance
- Qualified ACA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).
- Candidates qualified from abroad are encouraged to apply.
- Additional professional qualifications will be considered an advantage.
Experience

- 8 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Group of Companies
Additional Requirements
- Significant experience in the RMG (Readymade Garments) industry is mandatory.
- Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, VAT, audit, compliance, and team leadership.
- Experience in dealing with group accounts and multiple business units will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and people management capabilities.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS, IAS, taxation, VAT, and corporate compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Responsibilities & Context
- Lead and manage the overall Accounts & Finance operations of the organization.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Closely monitor and control accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring healthy cash flow and timely settlements.
- Oversee compliance with applicable accounting standards, VAT, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance to support business growth.
- Develop and strengthen internal control systems, financial policies, and risk management practices.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, government authorities, and other stakeholders on financial matters.
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to senior management for effective decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts & Finance team to ensure operational excellence.
- Support business expansion, investment evaluation, and cost optimization initiatives.
