Responsibilities & Context
Role Purpose
Provide individualized support to a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to ensure successful participation, learning, and inclusion within the classroom environment while promoting independence.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the student during lessons and school activities.
- Assist with understanding instructions, completing tasks, and staying focused.
- Implement learning accommodations and strategies recommended by the Coordinator or specialists.
- Support the student`s social, emotional, and behavioral development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and relevant professionals.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records.
- Encourage independence and positive peer interactions.
- Ensure the student`s safety, well-being, and inclusion throughout the school day.
