Responsibilities & Context
A leading frozen sea food manufacturing and export company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production and manufacturing equipment. The maintenance engineer must have the skills to identify problems quickly, use problem-solving skills to develop solutions, and be able to communicate effectively with other departments in the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance and conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans and procedures to ensure that equipment is maintained efficiently and effectively
- Communicate with other departments to coordinate repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Install new equipment and upgrade existing equipment as necessary
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Complete all necessary paperwork and ensure that records are accurate and up-to-date
