Requirements
Education
- Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) from a recognized Polytechnic Institute or Technical Board
- Technical certification in Pneumatics, Hydraulics, or PLC/SCADA systems will be an added advantage
- Training from a reputed machinery manufacturer or OEM on injection/blow molding equipment is preferred

- Age 30 to 45 years
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance of injection molding and blow molding machines in a food, beverage, plastics, or FMCG manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and overhauling injection molding machines (hydraulic, electric, and hybrid types)
- Solid experience with PET blow molding machines and preform/cap handling systems
- Proven capability in managing both preventive and breakdown maintenance independently
Additional Requirements
- Age: 30–45 years (relaxable for highly experienced candidates)
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in injection molding machinery
- Familiarity with different types of injection molding machines: horizontal, vertical, two-shot, and PET preform
- Experience with linear and rotary blow molding (extrusion blow molding / EBM) is an advantage
- Working knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and HMI interfaces
- Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and mechanical assembly drawings
- Knowledge of food-grade lubricants, mold release agents, and cleaning materials compliant with food safety standards
- Proficient in MS Office: ERP/CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) experience is a plus
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work in shifts and respond to breakdown calls outside regular working hours
- Able to communicate with machine suppliers foreign and local, for machine diagnostics.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on injection molding and blow molding machines as per OEM guidelines and maintenance calendar
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults on injection and blow molding equipment with minimal downtime
- Carry out major and minor overhauling of machines, including screw/barrel assemblies, clamping units, injection units, and mold systems
- Maintain and service PET blow molding machines including stretch rod mechanisms, blow valves, mold temperature systems, and conveyor integration
- Inspect and service molds, mould bases, hot runner systems, cooling circuits, and ejector systems on a routine basis
- Troubleshoot PLC/HMI-controlled systems, electrical panels, servo drives, and variable frequency drives (VFDs) related to injection/blow machines
- Monitor machine performance parameters (cycle time, injection pressure, clamp tonnage, temperature profiles) and optimize for efficiency and quality
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, machine history cards, and spare parts consumption records
- Coordinate with the QC team to investigate product defects related to molding parameters (flash, short shots, sink marks, dimensional deviation)
- Manage and control the critical spare parts inventory for injection and blow molding equipment; liaise with vendors for procurement
- Train technicians and operators on safe machine operation, mold changeover procedures, and first-level maintenance
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry safety standards, food-grade regulations, and company SOPs
- Support new mold trials, machine commissioning, and production capacity expansion projects
