  • Former government officers (retired or recently retired)
  • Former Project Directors (PDs)·
  • Former Deputy Project Directors·
  • Former Planning Commission officials·
  • Former officials of ERD, LGED, BWDB, Roads & Highways, Railways, CPA, BIWTA, DPHE, WASA, Power Division, etc.·
  • Senior NGO/INGO project coordinators with strong government networks·
  • Consultants who have worked on DPP, feasibility studies and donor-funded projects

2.The key competencies repeatedly mentioned in government liaison and project coordinator positions are:·

  • Strong government liaison capability·
  • Stakeholder management·
  • Networking with ministries and agencies·
  • Report preparation in English and Bangla·
  • Knowledge of government administrative structures·
  • Monitoring and coordination of development projects

Responsibilities & Context

Tender Management & Monitoring contemporary upcoming project:

  • Track government development projects from concept to approval.
  • Maintain relationships with ministries, divisions, agencies and development partners.
  • Gather information on ADP projects, feasibility studies, DPP/TAPP approvals and procurement plans.
  • Monitor projects financed by the Government, World Bank, ADB, JICA, AIIB, IsDB, etc.
  • Liaise with Project Directors (PDs), Chief Engineers, Secretaries and consultants.
  • Provide early intelligence on upcoming tenders and investment opportunities.
  • Prepare project profiles and arrange meetings with key decision makers.
