Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

Experience

    • 15 to 20 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

Additional Requirements

  • Age At least 45 years
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 7 years serving as a Project Manager on as-cast/fair-faced concrete surface commercial building projects within a reputable real estate organization, will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
  • Drawing interpretation (Architectural, Structural & MEP)
  • Project Planning (MS Project/Primavera is a plus)
  • Knowledge of applicable codes & standards, including BNBC, ACI, ASTM.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in construction site leadership, including execution and supervision of deep excavation works, shore protection works (3–4 basements), and delivery of high-rise commercial and residential buildings (12+ floors).
  • Practical field exposure to the operation and safety management of heavy construction equipment, such as tower cranes and construction passenger hoists, will be considered an added advantage.
  • Plan and schedule project activities, materials, machinery, and manpower to ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Supervise and monitor daily construction operations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, materials, and quality standards.
  • Maintain quality control to reduce wastage and ensure construction standards.
  • Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and progress monitoring activities.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers for timely project execution.
  • Prepare monthly budgets and progress reports, track milestones using “look-ahead” schedules, and participate in review meetings.
  • Evaluate progress against targets and develop strategies to accelerate project completion when necessary.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and monitoring activities.
  • Participate in rate negotiation and labor contractor selection processes by providing technical insights.
  • Conduct meetings with contractors and site personnel to address quality concerns and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all received materials meet the required quality, quantity, and compliance standards as per the approved BOQ.
  • Review and verify various bills, including contractor running bills and petty cash statements.
