Responsibilities & Context
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented professional to join our R&D team in the Finishing Department of a reputed Knit Composite Manufacturing Company.
- Lead and manage all R&D Finishing activities.
- Handle development samples, PP samples, test samples, SMS, and other buyer-required samples.
- Ensure finishing processes meet buyer standards and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Dyeing, Quality, and Production teams for smooth sample execution.
- Ensure 1st bulk in finishing.
- Troubleshoot finishing-related issues and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain timely communication with buyers, merchants, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage technical reports, emails, and development documentation.
- Strong knowledge of knit finishing processes and fabric performance requirements.
- Hands-on experience in sample development, PP approval, testing, and certification requirements.
- Excellent communication and professional email writing skills.
- Strong team management and leadership capabilities.
- Effective buyer and merchandising coordination skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
