  • Should have experience in Garments & Textile of relevant experience in Factory GM (General Manager ) in a BSCIC industrial area.
  • Perform basic computer tasks such as E-mail, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and optimize processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Prepare and execute knitting production plans according to order requirements.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
  • Ensure optimum machine utilization and production efficiency.
  • Coordinate with merchandising, dyeing, maintenance, and quality departments to meet delivery schedules.
  • Supervise all circular and/or flat knitting operations.
  • Ensure proper machine settings and process parameters.
  • Monitor fabric quality during production.
  • Minimize machine downtime and production losses.
  • Ensure fabrics meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Analyze quality defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with the Quality Control (QC) team to reduce rejection rates.
  • Maintain compliance with buyer and company quality requirements.
  • Lead and manage production managers, shift in-charges, supervisors, and operators.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and employee development programs.
  • Ensure proper manpower planning and shift management.
  • Promote a productive and safe working environment.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance department for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
  • Ensure machines remain in optimal operating condition.
  • Support implementation of new technologies and machinery upgrades.
  • Monitor yarn consumption and fabric wastage.
  • Implement productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Control operational costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Analyze production data and prepare efficiency improvement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with factory policies, labor laws, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain workplace health and safety standards.
  • Support sustainability and environmental compliance initiatives.
