Responsibilities & Context
Job Context
We are looking for a creative and motivated *Trainee Fashion Designer* to join our design and product development team. The selected candidate will work mainly for *local fashion brand*, supporting collection development, tech pack creation, sampling, and design coordination.
Freshers with a strong design sense and passion for fashion are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in developing seasonal collections for local fashion brands.
- Create fashion concepts, mood boards, color stories, and design inspirations.
- Prepare technical flat sketches and basic tech packs.
- Support product development from design concept to sample stage.
- Work with fabrics, trims, measurements, and garment construction details.
- Coordinate with the sample room and the production team when required.
- Understand brand requirements and create designs based on market trends.
- Assist in developing products for both local brands and buying office/factory projects.
- Maintain design files, references, and product development records.
