Information Security Officer (JO – SO)

Requirements

Education

B.Sc. in CSE/ECE/ICT or related subjects
Must have vendor Certification in CEH/CHFI/LPT/CPTE etc. with good understanding of Systems and Networking.

Experience

At least 4 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

Additional Requirements

Age At least 30 years

Strong hands-on experience with penetration testing tools such as Kali Linux, Nessus, Metasploit, SQLmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Nikto, Nmap etc.

Good understanding of regulatory requirements and security standards, including PCI DSS and ISO/IEC 27001.

Sound knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, routers and enterprise cybersecurity solutions.

Experience in CTF competitions or security challenges will be considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities & Context

Implement and maintain technical security controls across the Bank’s IT environment.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.

Investigate security incidents and support root cause analysis and remediation.

Perform security reviews, system hardening and secure configuration assessments.

Deploy and administer security technologies such as XDR, DLP, WAF, PAM, IAM, SIEM and email security solutions.

Assist in implementing and maintaining security policies, procedures and controls.

Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security requirements.

Coordinate with IT teams to implement security improvements and mitigate identified risks.

Perform 24×7 support during critical incidents, planned activities or emergencies, as required.

Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, attack techniques and security technologies to enhance the Bank’s defense capabilities.
