Responsibilities & Context

Hospital Operations & Service Management

Supervise daily operations: admissions, discharges, patient records, and outpatient services.

Ensure smooth coordination between doctors, nurses, and support staff.

Monitor facility upkeep: cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards.

Human Resource Administration

Recruit and manage staff: doctors, nurses, technicians, and non-medical staff.

Prepare duty rosters and manage shift schedules.

Conduct staff training on hospital policies, patient care, and ethics.

Financial & Business Management

Prepare hospital budgets and monitor expenses.

Manage billing and accounts: patient fees, insurance claims, and vendor payments.

Negotiate with suppliers for medicines, equipment, and services.

Ensure profitability while maintaining affordable healthcare for rural communities.

Regulatory & Compliance

Maintain licenses and permits required by the Ministry of Health and DGHS.

Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, safety regulations, and medical waste disposal rules.

Prepare reports for audits, inspections, and stakeholders.

Community & Patient Relations

Handle patient complaints and feedback to improve service quality.

Organize health awareness programs (vaccination drives, maternal health, sanitation campaigns).

Build trust with the local community to increase hospital reputation and patient inflow.

Logistics & Resource Management

Maintain inventory of medicines, consumables, and medical equipment.

Ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity, water, and essential services.

Coordinate ambulance and emergency services for rural patients.

Emergency & Crisis Handling

Develop disaster preparedness plans for floods, epidemics, or accidents.

Ensure availability of emergency medicines and trained staff during crises.

Coordinate with local authorities for disaster response.
