Requirements

Education

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines.
No 3rd Class /Division or CGPA will not be accepted at any stage of the academic career.

Experience

At least 5 years

Additional Requirements

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Debit Card Operations, Card Business, ADC Operations, Payment Services, Digital Banking, or related banking functions.       

Hands-on experience in Card Management Systems (CMS), card issuance processes, dispute handling, reconciliation, settlement, vendor management, and operational reporting will be preferred.

Responsibilities & Context

• Perform and support debit card issuance, re-issuance, renewal, replacement, cancellation, activation, and maintenance activities in line with Bank and Bangladesh Bank guidelines.
• Manage back-end operational processes including card personalization, PIN mailer handling, dispatch coordination, stock management, and documentation.
• Monitor debit card transactions, declines, failures, and exceptions; coordinate with ICT, vendors, and switching partners for timely resolution.
• Provide operational support to branches, agent banking outlets, and customers regarding debit card-related queries and service requests.
• Coordinate with vendors, courier service providers, ICT, and system partners (CMS/Middleware) to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and SLA compliance.
• Maintain accurate operational records, logs, MIS databases, and supporting documents for audit, compliance, and management reporting.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc MIS and regulatory reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, AML, data security standards, and Bangladesh Bank regulations related to card operations.
• Support process improvement, digitization, automation initiatives, and rollout of new debit card products or system upgrades.
• Assist in agent banking debit card operations including data processing, activation, delivery monitoring, and agent support where applicable.
• Perform roster-based duties and any other responsibilities assigned by the competent authority from time to time.
