Additional Requirements

7 to 10 years of relevant work-experience in a reputed bank financial institution with experience in Cash Management/Transaction Banking/Corporate Liability.

Preferably have knowledge of corporate deposit, CASA and liability business and understanding of transaction banking products and solutions.

Capability to conduct market analysis, deal negotiation and pricing.

Understanding of digital banking platforms and automated solutions.

Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong communication, negotiation, and client engagement skills.

Customer-centric, self-motivated, a team player, and capable of meeting deadlines.

The bank is seeking a qualified and purpose-driven professional for the following position within its Distribution Network Division:

Associate Manager/ Manager, Government and Institutional Relations, Distribution Network Division

Job Grade: Up to SPO

Job Location: Head Office Dhaka

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in driving the growth of CASA and TD in corporate segment for Distribution Network.
Work closely with Branch Managers to align their efforts with the institutional deposit strategy, monitor month-end branch performance, and recommend tactical changes to meet branch and regional targets.
Manage a robust corporate deposit pipeline to track and monitor corporate clients booked by branches and RMs.
Partner with internal stakeholders including Transaction Banking, Operations, AMLD and Tech, to identify business opportunities and eliminate process bottlenecks to enhance the institutional client experience.
Identify and drive industry-specific initiatives to increase the bank’s wallet share through specialized collection and payment solutions.
Identify knowledge gaps in branch staff regarding institutional clients onboarding with transaction banking solutions and provide customized training to bridge those gaps.
Conduct Wallet Analysis of existing clients to explore transaction banking and cross-selling opportunities.
Analyze balance sheet compositions of corporate deposits to identify the optimal mix of CA, SND, and TD to improve profitability.
Drive the bank’s Digital Agenda by migrating institutional clients to automated platforms (e.g., CORPnet, API integration).
Lead deal reviews and competitive pricing negotiations for institutional mandates, ensuring a smooth onboarding process that adheres to AML and central bank regulations.
Monitor competitor deposit rates and market developments and share feedback to the leadership team.
