A Leading Agro-Based Multinational Company is Seeking a Sr. Officer/ Asst. Manager – Supply Chain.
Responsibilities & Context
Sourcing, Price negotiation, Price finalization, negotiation of other terms & conditions and deal finalizing and issuance of Purchase order.
Accountable for preparing supporting documents for the supply plan, identifying potential sources, negotiating for competitive advantage and best price, and executing procurement per company policy and procedure.
Monitoring goods movement of shipments to avoid supplier delays, follow-up of goods receiving and ensuring and confirming required quality and quantity of goods receipt by store/site.
Maintain a smooth supply of Raw Materials & Packaging Materials.
Analyze forecast and stock level to prepare an accurate procurement plan incorporating inventory norms as per company policy.
Established and realized Key Supplier Agreements, identified new opportunities, sought ways to improve efficiency and ensured purchasing compliance.
Identify, control and develop purchasing processes and practices as well as ensure the best value for expenditure on goods and services.
Search for new and alternative supplies and ensure timely delivery of the requested materials.
Contribute to developing alternate sources to build a comprehensive supplier base to minimize the supply chain risk and ensure competitive advantage.
Update vendor database on a regular basis.
Provide support and advice to management and staff on procurement matters.
Any other task assigned by the management.
