Travel Requirement:* 1–2 days per week (Anywhere in Bangladesh)
Responsibilities & Context
We are looking for a *self-motivated and detail-oriented logistics professional* to supervise and manage day-to-day operations of assigned ghats and warehouses. The role requires strong coordination with sales, accounts, suppliers, and field teams to ensure smooth inventory flow, cost efficiency, and high service levels.
Supervise assigned ghats/warehouses and oversee *day-to-day inventory management
Track inventory levels, plan demand, and ensure timely replenishment
Arrange vessels and ensure on-time loading from factory
Ensure adequate labor availability at ghats for uninterrupted operations
Coordinate closely with the *sales team* to align demand and supply
Maintain professional relationships with ghat owners, labor suppliers, and vessel brokers
Monitor company-owned trucks and vessels to ensure optimal utilization and trip targets
Conduct regular *field visits and audits* to ensure proper use of company resources
Collect market and competitive logistics data
Identify opportunities to *reduce cost, improve service level, and mitigate operational risks
Coordinate with the *accounts department* to ensure timely fund availability
Supervise and monitor ghat in-charges and ensure role compliance
Prepare periodic inventory, operations, and performance reports
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal audit standards
