Responsibilities & Context
Collect quotations from suppliers, prepare Comparative Statements (CS), and finalize purchase orders.
Conduct market surveys to stay updated on product pricing and availability.
Negotiate prices and contract terms with vendors, ensuring alignment with company policies.
Source and enlist new vendors whilst ensuring complete documentation and proper integration into ERP software.
Prepare purchase requisitions and work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure Proforma Invoice documentation and complete processing according to policy/SOP.
Obtain necessary approvals for procurement activities and contract agreements.
Monitor and track order status, ensuring timely delivery and resolving delays or discrepancies.
Maintain up-to-date records of purchased products, delivery schedules, invoices, and payment status.
Coordinate with store/inventory personnel to ensure proper receiving and storage of goods.
Understanding of procedures and market practices for both export and import items.
Assist Line Manager with any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
