Additional Requirements
Age 30 to 40 years
Bachelor`s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
10–15 years of experience in merchandising, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the Denim sector.
Strong knowledge of denim fabrics, garment construction, washing, costing, and production processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple buyers and orders simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and merchandising-related reporting.
Responsibilities & Context
Lead and manage the Denim Merchandising team to achieve business objectives.
Handle buyer communication and maintain strong customer relationships.
Manage the complete order lifecycle from development to shipment.
Coordinate with sourcing, sample, quality, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely execution.
Negotiate prices and commercial terms with buyers and suppliers.
Monitor order status, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions.
Guide and mentor team members to enhance performance and productivity.
